If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
- The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!
Cruise Itinerary
7:00 - 7:30 | Travel from Hanoi
If you book the transfer service, get picked up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, then depart to Cat Ba Island.
We reach Cat Ba Island at around 10:15 and continue driving on a scenic coast from Cai Vieng Port to Beo Harb.
11:00 | Embark the cruise
You arrive at the pier, let's do the check-in process and get on Halong Serenity Cruise. Enjoy your welcome drink and listen to key information about the cruise, itinerary, and safety instructions as we travel to Lan Ha Bay & Cat Ba.
Pass by Cai Beo Fishing Village
The poetic scenery of Cai Beo's ancient fishing village appears with colorful floating houses lying along the mountainside. You will be surprised at the peaceful beauty of this 7,000-year-old village.
Then, the cruise moves further into the core of the bay where you can't help but be amazed by the gift of Mother Nature with phenomenal emerald water embracing hundreds of rocky islands.
Enjoy Lunch
Afterward, you can fill your stomach by savoring a delicious lunch (Buffet lunch is served for a group of 40 guests). Then, you can relax for a bit.
Viet Hai Village Excursion
After lunch, the ship sails to Viet Hai Port in Cat Ba Island. We disembark and get on an electric cart or cycle through the lush forest to reach to pristine Viet Hai Village.
Then, you can experience a unique fish-foot massage, stroll through well-preserved ancient houses, or interact with residents for a truly memorable experience.
Kayaking / Swimming
We cruise further into the bay’s core and see the wonderful scenery. Stop at Tai Keo/ Ba Trai Dao area for the next activities, which are kayaking or swimming to discover the vivid underwater world and the stunning sight above it.
NOTE: You can use the waterslide and float on board. Remember to wear a life jacket for safety.

Relax on board
Afterward, get back to Serenity Cruise and the boat begins its journey back to Beo Pier. It's the perfect time to relax yourself on the top deck with a cup of cool drink. Later, there will be a small sunset party served with fresh fruit, biscuits & tea.
16:45 | Disembark
We return to Beo Pier, let's say goodbye to the friendly staff, and get off board. Wait for your transportation to Hanoi.
20:30 | Arrive at Hanoi Old Quarter

The experience was great though it felt very short.
I highlight the kindness of the crew and the excellent guide Mr. Lucky! Kayak in this stunning bay was fun. Very good and varied food. Very nice!

Great day cruise
The support throughout the day by the Cat Ba Express - Serenity Cruise teams is fantastic.
The boat is splendid, the staff very professional, the meal very, very good and plentiful. It was beyond our expectations.
To recommend it without any reservation!!!

Thankfully we find this cruise 2 days before our departure date. Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba Island are beautiful. The view is outstanding.
Maybe we'll book an overnight cruise in the future.
