- From 11 to 20 days before check-in: 30% of total rates
- From 7 to 10 days before check-in: 50% of total rates
- Less than 7 days before check-in & no Show: 100% of total rates
If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
- The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!

08:00 - 08:30 | Pick up
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in the Old Quarter if you have booked the shuttle bus (requires an extra fee). The travel time to Halong Bay takes approximately 2.5 hours.
There will be a short break en route for refreshments (about 20 minutes).
11:15 - 11:30 | Check-in - Embark
You will be present at Tuan Chau Marina, where the cruise staff will welcome and assist with check-in procedures.
Once on board, guests can enjoy a welcome drink in the restaurant during the cruise briefing and then check into their luxury suite.
Lunchtime
Lunch will be served in the restaurant as the cruise ship travels through the countless stunning islands and islets of Halong Bay.
Excursion to Luon Cave
Today, we travel to Luon Cave, one of the most gorgeous places with imposing limestone mountains, lush flora, and an emerald sea. You will get on a rowing boat to discover this pretty area.
Applicable from 18th June to 30nd August 2026: Travelers can choose to visit Titop Island (optional): Relax on the sandy beach, enjoy swimming, or hike to the summit for breathtaking panoramic views of the bay.
For guests who do not engage in experiential activities, on the yacht, you can choose to relax and enjoy massage services, a swimming pool, a bar, a cigar and wine lounge, billiards, etc.
Sunset & Happy Hour time
Get back on board, you can enjoy the best moments of the day at the sky bar on board as the sun hits the water. Let's enjoy cocktails during Happy Hour and savour Canapés, or join the Vietnamese cooking class.
Dinner time - Leisure
In the evening, tantalize your taste buds with a selection of Western and Vietnamese cuisine in the dining room.

Explore Sung Sot Cave
The transfer boat will take you to the stunning Sung Sot Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay, discovered by a group of French explorers in 1901. This is the largest cave in the bay, filled with stunning stalactites and stalagmites.

You return to Grand Pioneers Cruise to complete the check-out procedures and pay your bill at the front desk.

Sunrise time - Breakfast
Enjoy the magnificent sunrise across Heritage Bay. You can start a new day with meditation on the sundeck or fitness exercises at the gym. Later, a light breakfast will be served as the cruise begins.
After breakfast, we step aboard the day boat Explora by Grand Pioneers, greeted with a welcome drink, as a day of natural wonders begins.
Cruise past pretty spots of the bay such as Dau Nguoi Islet, Yen Ngua Islet, and Trinh Nu Cave, each with stories steeped in legend and love.
Discover Bai Tu Long Bay
In the afternoon, travelers explore the magnificent Thien Canh Son Cave, untouched and enchanting, before enjoying free time on the beach next to the cave.
Return to Explora by Grand Pioneers for lunch while the cruise continues deeper into Bai Tu Long Bay.
Afterward, we will have time to discover aquaculture farms, learn about pearl cultivation, and explore the ancient Vung Vieng fishing village by bamboo boat or kayak. Return to Explora and continue cruising past Thung Cave, Trong Cave, and Trinh Nu Cave.

Okay but massage need improvement
The cruise was great. However, we also had a massage today, and honestly, it was one of the worst massages I’ve ever had. At this level and price point, that’s just not acceptable.
So yes, please feel free to pass this feedback on. I truly don’t mind. At this point, I just feel this is very, very, very far from a VIP experience.
