If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.

Cruise Itinerary
08:00 - 08:45 | Pick up in Hanoi
A driver picks you up from the Hanoi Old Quarter (book the transfer with an extra fee), then you depart for Halong City with a short stop on the expressway, and a visit to a Pearl Workshop to learn about the process of creating real pearls.
12:00 - 12:15 | Get on board
You arrive at Lot 21, Tuan Chau Harbor, and enter the private waiting lounge to board the Halong Sonata Cruise. The ship starts the enchanting 5.5 to 6-hour journey through the scenic 2-day sleeper cruise route.
Enjoy lunch
A buffet-style lunch (or set menu, depending on the number of passengers) will be served on board. Let’s enjoy your meal while sightseeing the magnificence of Halong Bay, renowned for its stunning, uninhabited islets and rock formations.
Explore Sung Sot Cave
In the afternoon, we will get to the Bo Hon archipelago to visit the stunning Sung Sot Cave with its great and impressive stalagmites and stalactites. Don’t forget to take pictures of the gorgeous view inside.
Visit Titop Island & Luon Cave
Next, you will visit the charming Titop Island, where you can swim on the sandy beach or hike to the island’s peak for a panoramic view.
The final stop of this day cruise is Luon Cave, where you can choose to kayak or join a bamboo boat rowing to explore the hidden lagoon, imposing islets, and the pristine beauty of the area.
Unwind on board
Afterward, we will return to Sonata Cruise for a Sunset Party, where you can enjoy a Live traditional music performance, while we return to Tuan Chau Marina.

You will have a great time chilling out with friends on the Upper deck with fresh drinks under the glorious sunset amid Halong Bay.
18:00 | Disembark
As the cruise reaches Tuan Chau Harbor, you will get off and get on the transportation back to Hanoi (book with an extra fee).
20:30 | Stop at Hanoi
After around 2,5 hours of traveling, you will be back at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. End of services!

Nice overall
The cruise was short but pretty fun. I had a glimpse of many iconic spots in Halong Bay. The weather was great, adding a lot to the whole experience.
For a day cruise, the quality was nice, staff was the highlight.

A day in Halong Bay
We really enjoyed our day trip on this ship! The boat was clean and comfortable, and the staff were so kind. The itinerary was fast-paced, but we loved the kayaking and the cave visit. Lunch was tasty too. A perfect way to experience Halong Bay in just one day!
