- Only 1 (one) child under 5 years traveling with 2 (two) adults is allowed for FOC per group
- More than 15 days prior to check-in: FREE of charge
- From 15 to 10 days prior to check-in: 50% of total rates
- From 9 to 3 days prior to check-in: 75% of total rates
- Less than 72 hours prior to check-in: 100% of total rates
- No-Show: 100% of total rates
If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
- The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!
Cruise Itinerary
8:00 - 8:30 | Pick-up time
If you book the transfer service (extra fee needed), be ready at your hotel in Hanoi and get picked up for your trip to Halong Bay.
11:45 - 12:00 | Check in & Embark
We arrive at No.22 Tuan Chau Harbor to do the check-in process, then you will board the Indochine Grand Cruise. Enjoy a welcome drink, and receive a cruise briefing and safety instructions.
Later, check in your cabin and then have a warm lunch, while the cruise ship slowly navigates among the majestic limestone mountains in Lan Ha Bay.
Visit Dark & Bright Cave
In the afternoon, the ship takes passengers to visit the Dark & Bright Cave, known for its stunning limestone structure and its interesting natural habitat.
The best way to explore this place is by kayaking or having a bamboo sampan sailed by local people through the cave so you can relax and enjoy the quiet and natural scenery.

Free time
Later, guests return to the ship to enjoy swimming in the clear emerald water of the bay. Then, Indochine Cruise departs and cruises for about 30 minutes to anchor overnight.
You can attend the Fruit & Vegetable Carving Lesson led by the Head Chef. During the lesson, the chef will carve fruits and vegetables, showing the guests how we decorate and make some traditional Vietnamese food.

Morning Warm-up
Wake up and recharge your energy with some coffee, tea, and breakfast pastries. Enjoying a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck is also great for being active for the day.
Have a trip to Trung Trang Cave
Today, we will have an interesting trip to Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island. You will stroll through the lush forest and walk on 100-step stairs to reach the cave. Get inside, you can admire the fascinating view of sparkling stalactites & stalagmites.

Check out - Brunch time
Afterward, travelers return to the cruise ship and check out at around 9:00. Please collect all of your belongings from the cabins and leave heavy luggage outside.
Later, enjoy a tasty brunch in the dining room. Bills (if any) can be settled after that. Feel free to relax on the sundeck or in the restaurant and enjoy the scenery as we approach the pier.

Arrive at Tuan Chau port, get off board, and relax inside the pier building while waiting for your return transportation (book with an extra fee).
14:00 - 14:30 | Arrive at hotel in Hanoi

If you book the transfer service (extra fee needed), wait for your driver at the hotel and travel to Halong Bay via highway.
11:45 - 12:00 | Embark at Tuan Chau Pier
Upon arrival at the pier, guests will check in at the waiting lounge and then transfer to IndoChine Grand. Get a welcome drink, a cruise briefing, and safety instructions before having lunch in the restaurant.
Explore Dark & Bright Cave
The ship takes visitors to the Dark and Bright Cave, which has spectacular limestone structures and a unique natural habitat. Let’s go kayaking or in a bamboo sampan driven by locals down the cave, where you will spend most of your time relaxing and enjoying the calm and natural surroundings.
After the cave tour, return to Indochine Grand Cruise and enjoy swimming in the bay.
Onboard Activities
We start to depart and cruise for around 30 minutes before anchoring overnight. You can attend the Fruit & Vegetable Carving class, guided by the Head Chef, and learn how to decorate and prepare traditional Vietnamese dishes.

Get to the restaurant on board and enjoy a flavorful meal.
Then, you can play board games such as cards and Parcheesi. Additionally, guests may participate in squid fishing on the boat with the crew's assistance.

Viet Hai Village excursion
The first destination for today is Viet Hai village, where we will walk around the idyllic enclave and see the residents' fabulously rustic homes. We then ride bicycles or electric carts down village paths to enjoy some of Cat Ba Island's stunning landscape.

Lunchtime - Leisure
Around noon, you will return to the day boat for lunch and relax. Then, you can choose to swim or kayak around the imposing islands to explore the beauty and hidden charm of Lan Ha Bay.

Afterward, we return to Indochine Grand Cruise and unwind onboard as we sail to the overnight anchorage. Feel free to swim in the pool, drink at the bar, or attend the Fruit & Vegetable Carving Lesson.

Today's excursion brings you to the majestic Trung Trang Cave. Navigate through the deep forest, visitors can admire the wild nature outside and the magnificent rock formations inside the cave.

We return to Indochine Grand Cruise after the cave trip and check out of your cabin at around 9:30. Later, brunch will be served in the restaurant as the ship cruises back to the mainland.

You get on the transfer ship and move back to Tuan Chau Port. Get off board and wait for your transportation (book with an extra fee) at the waiting lounge.
14:00 - 14:30 | Back to your hotel in Hanoi
