The first destination is Viet Hai village, which has existed for more than a century and is home to Cat Ba's long-standing traditions. Let’s take a day boat to get to this off-the-beaten-path landscape. 

You may choose between riding a bicycle down the winding path or taking an electric cart. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about local culture and take in the magnificent mountain atmosphere.

You may also visit an old house, speak with the natives, and learn how to brew rice wine with the way of life of fishermen. 

Optional: You can find the fish massage in Viet Hai village. This alternative will increase your blood flow.

Let's have lunch in the village restaurant and sample some of the regional fare. 

Explore Ba Trai Dao Beach

Returning to the day boat, the trip continues to Ba Trai Dao Beach. It's time to soak up the sun on the immaculate sand or submerge yourself in the ocean in the afternoon.

After that, get back to the luxury cruise for a relaxing time.

The Happy Hour program and the cooking class are still available like the first day, so take advantage of what you are interested in.

Following that, you'll get the option to partake in activities like catching squid, watching movies, or playing board games.

Have A Tour At Dark & Bright Cave

Take a bamboo boat to Dark & Bright Cave from the tender. Thanks to the calm waters and the boat's steady speed, you can see the geological formations and stalactites within the cave.

9:00 | Check Out - Have Brunch

Back to the Capella Cruise to double-check your belongings. Then enjoy your delicious brunch as the cruise sails back to Halong Bay.

11:00 - 11:45 | Disembark

Say goodbye to the crew as you arrive at the pier. Take an opportunity to unwind at the Capella Lounge while you wait for the ride to Hanoi. 

14:30 - 15:00 | Return to Hanoi

You might get to your hotel in Hanoi after a 2.5-hour drive (book the transfer with an extra fee) and the tour ends.

Start the day by joining the Tai Chi exercise at the sundeck. Then, enjoy a light breakfast to refill your energy for the day.

Visit Viet Hai Village

Afterward, transfer to Viet Hai pier by speed boat, where we’ll take an opportunity to explore the local life of an ancient village.

Arrive at the pier, you’ll choose to take a ride by bicycle or electric car to Viet Hai Village. The 6 km ride takes you along a beautiful lagoon to the hidden village. 

Spend your time wandering around and interacting with the locals, visiting an ancient house, and learning how to make rice wine. Then, refresh yourselves with a natural fish massage.

Unwind in Ba Trai Dao

Before noon, you will travel to the pretty Ba Trai Dao beach. It’s time for more swimming or just lying on a small & pristine beach and watching the clouds drift by.

Back to the ship

Transfer back to Capella Cruise, you’ll have time to rewind onboard before enjoying a sumptuous lunch. Then you may have a short rest.

Later in the day, let’s discover the enchanting Vietnamese tea ceremony, steeped in rich rituals for savoring and relishing tea - a beloved cultural experience, especially for tea enthusiasts.

Around dusk, guests can take advantage of the Happy Hour program at the Spirit of the Sea Lounge and the sundeck or take part in the cooking demonstration.

Dinner Time - Leisure

Go to the restaurant for a gourmet dinner after a long but fun day.

Feel free to chill out by watching a movie, singing karaoke, playing board games, squid fishing, or simply taking a rest in your cabin.

Let’s wake up early to catch the beautiful sunrise and enjoy the fresh air, followed by a Tai Chi class and breakfast.

Have a trip to Trung Trang Cave

Get on a speedboat and travel to Gia Luan pier, where we’ll take the opportunity to explore Trung Trang Cave.

You’ll take a drive to Trung Trang cave for about 20 minutes. It’s time to discover the cave, known as the biggest stalactite cave in Cat Ba National Park with a majestic view.

Return on board

Transfer back to Capella Cruise, you’ll have time to rewind onboard and get ready for a sumptuous lunch.

After the meal and a short rest, you can have fun in the emerald sea by kayaking, swimming, or playing with the water slide. You can also play mini golf, relax in the jacuzzi & pool, etc.

When the sun slowly dips into the horizon, you can make use of the Happy Hour to enjoy fresh drinks or participate in the engaging Vietnamese cooking class.

Nighttime

Reward yourself with a delicious meal in the restaurant. After that, you may try squid fishing, watch movies, have a massage, etc.

Early Morning Activities

Good morning with a healthy Tai Chi session then savor a light breakfast amid the stunning bay.

Dark & Bright Cave Trip

After that, visit the magnificent Dark & Bright Cave by traditional rowing bamboo boats. Cruising to the cave, you will see an angled passageway opening the cave at water level and a serene round lake surrounded by lush trees and precipitous stone cliffs.

Get back to the main ship for the cabin check-out procedure. Enjoy your last brunch served at Harmony of the Sea Restaurant while cruising towards the port.

10:30 | Disembark

From the cruise, return to Tuan Chau pier by tender boat. Farewell. You can wait for your driver at the waiting lounge (book the transfer service for an extra fee).

14:30 - 15:00 | Back to Hanoi

After around 2,5 hours of driving, you will arrive at your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter. Get off and end your trip.
